100 DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS IDEAS

We hope you've been enjoying the 100 DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS IDEAS being posted on Facebook. It's sometimes so hard to remember to do that everyday so now we're gonna do more than one at a time, here, and then post the link on Facebook.

Here's a recap:

100 DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS Ideas!!!!

Idea 100: get Pinterest if you haven't done so already!! You'll need a fast and easy place to store all your ideas for making or buying gifts. Leave your email here or message Steph with your email so you can get an invite. (You'll become addicted and we're sorry! ok not really but you'll love Pinterest!)
Idea 99: Start your wish list.

Get yourself a special notebook to fill up with all your Christmas wishes and keep them all together (or use your new Pinterest account to tag photos and ideas in).

What do you want your holidays to be like? Where do you want to be? What do you want to give? What do you want to get? How do you want to feel when the holidays are over? Some perfect memories take extra planning so be prepared and make all your wishes come true!
Idea 98: Pick a service project NOW!

A secret to getting the Christmas spirit is to do secret acts of kindness with out expecting anything in return i.e. make plans to do 'the 12 days of Christmas' to someone, pick tags off of the giving tree at church or find a family in need. This will fill your heart and teach your children some valuable life lessons.
Idea 97: Are you Pinning yet?? Leave your email or send it in a message to Mandy or Steph for an invite! I'm telling ya, it's awesome and so easy access your favorite finds from all over the web in one spot!

Ok, the real Idea 97 is to schedule you family photo sessions for your holiday cards. Even if it's not for a couple months still, it's one more thing you won't have to worry about.
Idea 96: Prepare your house for your Fall decorations (if you haven't put them up already!) Dust your knick-knacks before packing them up, wipe off your shelves or mantel and do a sweep for cobwebs--unless you need them as part of your Halloween decor!
Idea 95: Buy ingredients for pumpkin cookies (to make while you decorate for fall.) There's an easy peasy recipe that uses a spice cake mix, a can of pumpkin and chocolate chips. Mix together and bake on 350 for about 15 min.
Idea 94: COME SEE WOODZY CHIC in the Girls Day Out Boutique at the Richfield Quality Center tomorrow, Sept 23---10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Lots of cute stuff!!
Idea 93: Make pumpkin cookies, put up your fall decorations then go to the Sigurd Corn Maze for Music at the Maze!! Starts at 10:30 am. Come see Mandy at the Woodzy booth and tell her "I support the troops" and get 10% off your purchase!! Hope to see you there!!!
Idea 92: Rest and Relaxation. Gotta take a break every now and then to recharge your energy level. Read a good book; take a nap; sip some hot cocoa and watch a movie; relax in hot bubble bath; play around on Pinterest and see how fast you become an addict! Spend the whole day in your jammy pants if you want. :)
Idea: 91 Follow through with your commitments. Find a way to be organized with your time and all the events that will be coming up. Put events in the calendar on your phone or try Cozi @ https://cozicentral.cozi.com/logon. It is a great way for every family member to see what everyone else is doing.

The ironic thing about this "idea" is that we forgot to post it yesterday. We will follow through with this commitment to share joy and fun with you all better!
Idea #90 If you like to make homemade cards....or always wanted to....get your ideas and materials together now. If you have them done just after Halloween, you have time to focus on all of the other great fall activities. Send them in the mail the first week of December so your loves ones have more time to enjoy them!
Idea #89 Stay in better contact with all your friends and family. Don't let Christmas be the only time you drop them a line.
Idea 88: Make plans to go to the pumpkin patch. If it's not already a fall tradition for your family, make it be one. It's so fun to go especially when you get a tractor/hay ride out of it!!
Idea 87: Are you PINNING YET??? Follow Woodzy here: http://pinterest.com/woodzychic/
Idea 86: Family Photos are so precious! and fall is the perfect season....not too hot...not too cold. I just got mine done and LOVE them. If family photos are not in your budget, don't fret. Just find a friend with a camera and go outside next to a fence, an old car or something unique and SAY CHEESE!!!
Idea 85: Make plans to go apple picking. Captiol Reef is one place that I know offers apple picking, if there's any others please share them here.
Idea 84: Make apple pie, apple cobbler or apple cider, or my favorite-caramel apples with your fresh picked apples!
Idea 83: Inventory your winter gear that is in storage. Throw away mismatched gloves. Check boot sizes and coat quality. Start checking out the local store selections and then check online for great deals and original gear. Winter is coming one way or another!

Hero Block Set

My nephews spending several serious minutes trying to figure out all six sides of the hero puzzle block set.   This set was made with pictures of my husband as a firefighter.  (He is my hero.)  Two of the pictures had smoke and flames on most of the picture and that seemed to stump them.  I am telling you....fun for all ages!

The smile on my nephews face as he looked at each ABC Block was genuine joy.  He thought every photo of a toddler was him and as he showed me each one, he would say, "That's me." This set is intended for moms and grandmas to have such tender moments with their little sweethearts.  Scrapbooks are often a "once-in-a-while" thing but with this block set, photos are accessible to little hands of all ages.  The ABC & 123 sides are an added bonus along with darling patterned papers.  A practical and adorable conversation piece for any home.
